Fish Fry Stir Fry Fried Tilapia in Black Bean Sauce

In this video, I show you how to make fried Tilapia in black bean sauce

Green Bell Pepper (half)
Red Bell Pepper (half)
1 Pound Tilapia
1 Egg
1 Tablespoon Minced Ginger
2 Tablespoon Black Bean Sauce
Dash of Cooking Wine
3 Tablespoon Oyster Sauce
2 Teaspoon Sugar
1 Cup Chicken Broth

Slice onion and bell pepper and set aside. Slice tilapia in one each pieces. In a mixing bowl, put in tilapia. Crack an egg and mix in with tilapia. Once tilapia is nicely coated with egg, add in cornstarch and mix in with egg covered tilapia.

Heat up a pan of oil for frying. Once oil is heated up, add in tilapia and fry for about 2 minutes. Fry in batches if needed.

After the tilapia is all fried up, add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a pan. Add ginger and black bean sauce and give it a good stir. Then add onions and bell peppers. Give it a cook stir and let it cook for a minute or two. Add in chicken broth, cooking wine, oyster sauce and sugar and give it a good stir. (If you would like a thicker sauce, add in a tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with water) Add in tilapia and stir until coated with sauce then let it cook for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, it’s done!
